Cadillac recently electrified its flagship SUV with the Escalade IQ, and we’re now getting a look at the extended-wheelbase Escalade IQL, which has more passenger and cargo space, making it one of the longest vehicles on sale today.

The IQL follows the styling cues of the standard IQ, which means a very familiar Escalade look with an exaggerated length. It’s 1.5 inches longer than the gas-powered Escalade ESV and has a large frunk with 12.2 cubic feet of storage.

Inside Cadillac offers an Executive Second Row Package, which brings dual 12.6-inch screens, wireless charging pads, massaging/heated/ventilated seats, and 14-way power-adjustable second-row seats with headrest speakers. The long wheelbase adds four inches of third-row legroom and one inch to headroom.

Like its counterparts, the IQL gets a massive front display screen, totaling 55 inches combined between the infotainment screen, digital gauge cluster, and side control screen. A 21-speaker AKG Studio audio system is standard, and a 38-speaker AKG Studio Reference system is available, increasing to 42 speakers with optional add-ons.

Other standard tech includes driver-assistance features, such as blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts. Super Cruise is also standard, and comes with a three-year trial of OnStar connected services.

Magnetic Ride Control and Air Ride suspension are standard, but the big story is the IQL’s electric powertrain, which delivers 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque in its highest setting. That gives the IQL a 4.7-second 0-60 mph time and a max towing capacity of 7,500 pounds.

Cadillac offers the Escalade IQL in four trims: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport. Pricing starts at $132,695, and the IQL is expected to go on sale later this year as a 2026 model.
