These Are the Most American-Made Vehicles for 2025

Every year, Cars.com looks at the vehicles bought and sold in the United States to find the most American-made models. A familiar name tops the list for 2025, taking four of the top ten spots, but this year’s study showed some interesting movement for some vehicles.

Tesla, which calls Texas its home and operates factories there and in California, landed at the top of the list. The Model 3 was first, followed by the Y, S, and X. The top ten most American-made vehicles include:

  • Tesla Model 3
  • Tesla Model Y
  • Tesla Model S
  • Tesla Model X
  • Jeep Gladiator
  • Kia EV6
  • Honda Ridgeline
  • Honda Odyssey
  • Honda Passport
  • Volkswagen ID.4

Seeing Tesla at the top isn’t surprising, but the Kia EV6 is new on the list. The automaker moved production from South Korea to its plant in Georgia, and its move up the rankings has made EVs the majority in the top ten. Likely related to shifting trade relations, other automakers have boosted the domestic content in electric models, with EVs now accounting for 11 of Cars.com’s list, up from eight the year before. Hybrids and plug-in hybrids make up another 19 spots on the list.

Cars.com’s American-Made Index accounts for several factors in the production process, including the final assembly location, the percentage of U.S. and Canadian parts, countries of origins for drivetrain components, and the U.S. manufacturing workforce. Each component is weighted equally in the final calculations.
