QOTD: Is Replacing Dead Actors With CGI OK or Not?

qotd is replacing dead actors with cgi ok or not

We’re going to depart from cars a bit today with this QOTD, though the news hook here is the report that CGI might “resurrect” Paul Walker for another Fast and Furious franchise film.

I ask of you — is this OK or unethical? Is it OK if the family is cool with it — especially if, as in this case, a surviving member of the family might also have his/her image used as part of the filming?

I have no clue where I stand on this one — though I am not sure if we need another FF film (this could be a future QOTD itself).

Anyway, I am going to put it to you. Go ahead and sound off below.
